I did figure out the issues with the checkbook. It was a math error. We would have gotten overdrawn, if I hadn’t caught that error. It’s such a small thing, but it’s the small things that pull you under as a debtor. “The devil’s in the details,” as they say. It’s hard to learn that, but I’m really starting to get it. It’s very freeing, getting clear. It’s actually quite tiring to live in a state of vagueness. You think it’s easier; you think you’re getting away with something; but it never works out that way. The chickens always come home to roost. It’s better to just deal with things as they come up, and be done with them.
